Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Decision Picker is designed to be private by default. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no user database — which means there is very little data to handle in the first place. This page describes what happens with your information when you use the free random decision picker.

What we collect

Nothing, on our servers. We don’t ask for your name, email, or any personal information, and we don’t run analytics or advertising trackers. Because your options never reach a server, there is no data for us to store, lose, or hand over.

Where your options and picks live

Everything you type — your options, your weights, and your pick history — is stored in your browser’s local storage, on your own device. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser’s site data for this site, or using the in-app clear option, removes it. On a public or shared device, your lists are only as private as that device.

Third-party services

The site loads the Geist typefaces from Google Fonts. When you visit, your browser requests the font files from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google handles that request under its own privacy policy, and may log the standard information any web request includes. Decision Picker itself sets no tracking cookies, no analytics, and no advertising.

We never sell or share your data

Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to sell, rent, trade, or share with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. No dark patterns: if we ever change that, this page will say so first.

Children

The decision picker is appropriate for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the tool handles data, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Since your options stay on your device, most future changes would affect only the third-party resources listed above.
