By using the free random decision picker, you agree to these terms. They’re short, and they reflect how the tool actually works: local, free, and random on purpose.
Using Decision Picker
Decision Picker is free to use, needs no account, and runs in your browser. You may use it for personal and everyday purposes — dinner, movies, games, raffles, team orderings — without restriction.
Your data stays on your device
Your options and pick history are stored in your browser only. We don’t see, store, or transfer them. You’re responsible for the lists you enter — keep this in mind when you use the tool on a share or public device.
The service is provided “as is”
The tool is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we don’t guarantee you’ll agree with the result — outcomes are random by design. That’s the point.
Acceptable use
Use the tool lawfully and don’t use it to harm, harass, or deceive anyone. Because results are random, don’t rely on the picker for decisions where a random outcome could be unsafe or inappropriate — real-world safety, medical, legal, or financial calls should be made deliberately, by people.
Intellectual property
The Decision Picker name, logo, design, and code belong to us. You’re welcome to use the tool and share it, but please don’t resell it, copy its design, or present it as your own.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this free tool. If you act on a random result, the consequences of that choice are yours — which is exactly why the tool is best used for decisions where a coin-flip is a fine fit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the tool after a change means you accept the updated terms, and the latest version is always on this page.
